As one of the biggest pay TV suppliers in Europe, Sky have a huge reach and an even larger breadth of content that they offer to customers. Pair that with their class leading TV technology, 4K broadcasts, great customer service and unbeatable film and sport coverage and you’ve got more than a handful of reasons why Sky reigns supreme.

Today, Sky support two TV boxes for their customers – Sky+ (which was phased out for new customers in 2016) and Sky Q, their latest service. Each offers intuitive recording and manipulating of live TV, excellent recommendations and video on demand services, making them excellent additions to every home.

However, those boxes are if they’re experiencing a technical issue or haven’t been set up correctly. In this article, we’re going to share with you the main features of the two Sky TV help pages.

Sky TV Help for Sky Q Customers

By clicking here, you’ll be taken to the page for Sky Q’s TV help page. By clicking the ‘TV’ square in the middle of the first row of icons, you’ll open up a sub menu which features four options: ‘Getting started’, ‘Using TV’, Fix a problem’ and ‘Manage your account’, as well as a number of frequently asked questions to the right hand side of the screen. Here’s what each link features

  • ‘Getting started’: Recycling your old Sky equipment, setting up a new Sky Q Mini box, moving from Sky+ to Sky Q, setting up your Sky Q remote and connecting your Sky Q box to your broadband router. You’ll also find links for setting up Ultra HD, installing a Sky Q Hub, connecting the Sky Q app to the Sky Q hub and more.
  • ‘Using TV’: Sky Q remote buttons explained, finding your remote control, watching on multiple devices simultaneously, installing the Sky Q app on your smart device, connecting the Sky Q app to your box, managing devices, recording programmes from the Sky Q app and more!
  • ‘Fix a problem’: No satellite signal, problems with Sky Q remote, connecting Sky Q products using Ethernet, connectivity problems, no connection to broadband on your Sky Q box, no signal or input loss of connections between Sky Q boxes in the early morning, picture problems with Sky Q, picture problems on recordings, picture problems on Sky Q Mini box.
